The NMSU Police Emergency Dispatch Center provides Police, Fire, and EMS communications for the Main NMSU Campus. All emergency dispatchers are certified through the New Mexico Department of Public Safety and as a whole hold several advanced certifications to include Emergency Medical dispatch, Tactical Dispatch, and Fire Service Dispatch. The Emergency Dispatchers not only receive and dispatch all incoming emergency and non-emergency calls for service on the NMSU Main Campus but they also provide on-scene communications and service in their Mobile Operations and Communications Center during planned and emergency events. The NMSU Police Emergency Dispatchers are prepared to respond to assist any agency at a moment’s notice.
